Kelly & Matt’s Wedding:
Designing with Kelly & Matt couldn’t have been more easy going about their wedding planning. They fell in love with the rustic barn, the great wine, caring staff and rolling countryside of Loudoun County and from there, their dream day was a breeze to plan.
Kelly described her style as a lover of vintage combined with rustic and healthy dose of romance.
Kelly’s favorite color is “poppy red”, not too true red, not too orange. With a November wedding, Kelly and Matt had lovely blooms from which to choose.
The couple was married in front of the roaring fireplace upstairs in the barn at Hamilton Station Vineyard. The mantel was decorated with a vintage-style lighted “Love” sign and covered with beautiful flowers. This beautiful backdrop did double duty as the background for their dessert display later in the evening.
The guests were seated at beautiful bare wood farm tables for their sit-down dinner. These roomy tables were generously covered with candles and flowers without interfering with the guest’s personal space.
Kelly carried a bouquet of anemone, roses, tulips, brunia, hydrangea and freesia; while her attendants carried hydrangea, roses and brunia.
Kelly’s twin sister, Amy gave one of the most beautiful Maid of Honor Speeches. There wasn’t a dry eye in the house.
After a delicious dinner, the guests danced the night away.
